How does it work?

Typically, the client contacts Ocean Emotion Therapy and starts the intake process by facilitating their insurance card for an estimate or just deciding to pay from their pocket. Then, the client receives an email from the Therapy Notes Portal that gives them access to the intake paperwork to fill out (some assessment questionnaires) and to sign up (e.g., consent to treatment).

The sessions usually last 45 minutes. At Ocean Emotion Therapy, all the sessions are telehealth (i.e., remote sessions on the phone or videoconference in a very confidentially prepared software to match HIPPA law requests).

For individual therapy, therapists integrate a series of theoretical approaches that best serve the client's actual needs, from a systems overview to psychodynamics interventions, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disputes, narrative reconstructions, or solution-focused approaches.

We are invested in delivering efficient collaborative interventions to match the goals pre-determined by our clients for their therapy. We use scientifically tested approaches that work. We can also work within our clients' spiritual belief system for the sake of smoother processing and more remarkable outcomes.

When do you need therapy? If you are not feeling great about yourself, eventually, something is wrong. We believe that we are all different from each other, however, we all have one great gift, dream, and path to walk when we find it we will feel great about ourselves.
